We all have flaws that we try to overcome by doing something very heroic, and because of our determination we sometimes do.

Through his death, Samson destroyed more of his enemies in this one sacrificial act, than he had previously killed in all the battles of his life.

The main character that I focused in on for the archetype the flawed hero is Matt Dillon. Matt dillon playes officer John Ryan in this movie. John Ryan is a character that is stressed from the begining because his father is sick and his insurance company wont give him a medical note. He states some racial slurs to the woman that denys him the medical note, that showing his first flaw as a flaw hero. Then not too long after he stops a couple and pulls them to the side of the road and sexually hurasses the wife infront of her husband, that showing that he has even more flaws. But Later on in the movie the women that he sexually hurassed ends up flipping her car and is stuck underneath it. Officer John Ryan being the only cop at the scene goes to her rescue and becomes a hero and saves her.
